This direct answer to prayer is from a fellow missionary serving in Palatka, Florida.
So for the last couple weeks, my companion and I have
been praying that we would be able to find a single parent with two kids
where the kids would be interested to hear our message. Searching for
something to do one evening, we decided to knock some doors in an
apartment complex close to ours. And sure enough, we knocked into a nice
lady who has two daughters. When we said that we were Mormons,
her daughter ran up to us and started asking us a ton of questions.
Come to find out, she was learning about different religions in her
class at school and Mormonism had caught her attention. It was a big
miracle for us, and a testimony builder to me that God hears and answers
our prayers, as long as we have faith that He can.
There can be miracles when you believe in God.
