Miracle 130: Special Fasts
This lovely miracle is from a missionary serving in Florida currently!
Growing up on a farm there has been many times throughout my life when we have witnessed miracles coming in forms such as being saved from harm, given guidance, and provided strength. Rain is often the form in which these miracles come. There have been many times when we are in desperate need of moisture and so the church members in the local area would hold a special fast for the farmers. Without fail rain always comes. I know that Heavenly Father is aware of us and our individual needs. He literally "pours out his blessings upon us" I am grateful for everything that the Lord does for me and my family. I love being here in Florida as a missionary!

Miracle 129: Without Question
This miracle is from a Navy wife living in Georgia. She is gem with one darling daughter and another baby on the way!
We learned that a family member was very sick and hospitalized earlier this week. The news brought me to my knees that we may be facing a life altering event. I prayed for those who were operating that their hands be steady and that the hand of God would guide them. That the family who were able to be near by were comforted and able to keep their thoughts collected. Also, for those that could not be near by to have the faith and take comfort in knowing that God almighty would take care of everything. Shortly after I asked friends and family online to pray for our family. Now, I just received word that our loved one will be moving from ICU to recovery very soon! God bless the meek, mild and humbled spirits who, without question, prayed for a speedy recovery!

Miracle 128: Destiny
This powerful miracle is one that we love with all our hearts. This wise mom is from Gainsville, Florida.
On November 11, 2002, God allowed me to bring a beautiful child into this world. This is my miracle baby because when I found out I was pregnant I was in the military and really didn't want any children. I became very depressed and wanted to have an abortion. I scheduled many appointments at the abortion clinic, but something always came up and I was unable to keep the appts. The last appt I scheduled was at an Atlanta clinic. I was seven months pregnant and they could perform this very expensive procedure. On the day that I was scheduled to go, I didn't have all of the money and a friend of mine promised to give it to me, but he ended up lying! I was furious with him. I am so grateful to that friend for lying about giving me the rest of the money. You saved my angel's life. I decided that if I had to keep her, I would give her up for adoption. Her god-mother was going to adopt her and they were going to live in Texas. Those were my plans, but God had other plans. Well... things fell through and her god-mother would no longer be able to take her. When I went to the hospital to have my baby, I had chosen a name for her, but after having her I couldn't remember what it was. I was so depressed that I didn't even want to give her a name. When the nurse came in and told me that she needed a name to put on the paperwork, the only name that came to mind was Destiny. Destiny is defined as the inevitable or necessary fate to which a particular person or thing is destined. It's what's written in the stars. God already knew what a blessing she would be to me. He knew the joy she would bring to my life. I love my big girl with everything in me and I thank God for not letting me have my way. He will definitely intercept our plans so that His will can be done.

Miracle 127: Fasting Works!
This miracle is from a young woman from Indiana. She is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florida.
In 2012 my Dad had a surprise double-bypass/open heart surgury which was followed by multiple organ failure, and a stroke. The doctors had to put him in a medical-coma because his heart wasn't strong enough to support his life. Every time they tried to bring him out of his coma his vitals would drop dramatically. I started to realize that there was a big chance my Dad wasn't going to make it. This was devastating to me! My church congregation and my whole family fasted and prayed for his recovery and the very next day the doctors were able to bring him out of his coma and his recovery after that went very smoothly. Today, my dad continues to draw, walk, talk, make jokes, smile, and be the miracle of a man he is. I know that there are miracles still today! Fasting works! Our Heavenly Father loves us with an unconditional love!

Miracle 126: Completely Healed
This incredible miracle is from a kind man living in a small town in Florida!
While serving as a missionary in Medellin, Colombia in June 1982, my companion and I received a phone call from the mission home that some non-members had requested a blessing for their sick four-year-old daughter. They were desperate. They had been to the best medical help, tried every church, and spent thousands of dollars to have their daughter healed, to no avail. We were a last resort for them. We made arrangements to meet the father and his family that same evening. The father was a good man and a great father, who only wanted the best for his young family. Based on his previous religious experiences, he asked us "How much do you charge for blessings?" He added that he didn't have much money left, but he would try to come up with whatever we asked. We responded that this priesthood blessing was a gift from Christ and free for all. His next question was about our authority, "Who was it from?" This, for us was a wonderful opportunity to explain the gospel. His wife had faith in the Lord, but was bitter with life and "turned-off" to organized religion because of the plight of their daughter.
Their four-year-old daughter was the most pitiful little thing I had ever seen. She couldn't breathe properly. Her chest would rise and fall rapidly as she tried to catch her breath. She constantly ran a fever, and had been bedridden for the previous two years. We gave the man and his wife discussion "C" (on the Restoration) that night. Afterward we told them we would give their daughter a blessing, but their faith was as necessary as our priesthood authority. They said they believed. We blessed that poor helpless child that night, and the spirit touched me like never before. Everyone felt the spirit, and at the conclusion of the blessing everyone was in tears. We knew she would be healed, her parents knew it, and she knew it. As we left the appointment and walked home that evening the feelings of the spirit continued and my companion and I both experienced a sensation that felt like we were floating down the street.
The next day went by quickly as we attended to our other investigator families, but there was only one thing on our minds; this little girl. When we returned we had hoped to see some improvement in her condition, perhaps to see her standing on her own, or better yet to see her taking a few feeble steps with assistance. As representatives of the Lord we built up their hopes pretty high, and were hoping they wouldn't be let down. When we finally returned the next afternoon, and rounded the last corner to their house, our weak faith became apparent to both of us. For in front of us, this little girl who had been unable to get out of bed for two years, was running and playing with the other children in the street. She had been completely healed. We had underestimated the power of the priesthood. Thankfully the Lord didn't limit her blessing to the limitations we imagined. Later the father told us the blessing had a more drastic effect on his wife than their daughter. After two years of caring for a sick child and trying everything, she had given up hope. She was having a nervous breakdown. The blessing also changed her heart. Their family was baptized after receiving the remaining discussions.

Miracle 125: Have Everyone Start Praying
This powerful miracle is from a woman living in Florida that I just met last week. She is incredibly kind and we adore her family.
My miracle is when my son was 9 he had got glass in both eyes and the doctor told me that if his left eye did not look better by the morning he would have to do surgery and take it out. He then asked me if I went to church. I said, "Yes sir, I do." He told me to have everyone start praying. Well, God worked a miracle...when I took him back the next morning, his eye was a 100 percent better. God is so good all the time.

Miracle 124: She Is Truly My Little Miracle
This darling miracle is from a father of 7 living in lovely Florida. They are my home away from home on my mission.
On May 7,2002 my wife gave birth to my first baby girl, Kelsey. She was so Beautiful and Healthy! Then on May 12th, less then a week later on Mothers Day, while I was cooking my wife a big dinner to celebrate the occasion, we watched Kelsey go from a healthy little newborn to an extremely sick little girl who was almost lifeless and vomiting bright green bile, also refusing to eat. My wife called PEDS after hours countless times just to have them say that there was no need to worry about it, that the nurses obviously didn't suction her nose and throat well enough after her delivery. They said to wait till the next day and the Pediatrician could see her. We knew something much worse was going on with her so we left very quickly and took her to the hospital. When we arrived there Kelsey wasn't opening her eyes and was very lethargic. They stuck us in a room and we prayed over her.
As we looked at her we knew we were losing her. My wife at this point became panicked with fear, she left the room and grabbed a doctor by his arm and made him help us. As soon as this man seen the condition she was in he realized she was dying. The next thing we knew our room was packed with nurses and doctors. They surrounded Kelsey and pushed us out of the way. They gave her two spinal taps and she never flinched, she didn't blink her eye or move a finger. We were froze with fear. They had us call our family in to be with us. Then after running some quick tests they told us with such urgency that her bowels and intestines had wrapped around one another and it had poisoned her so severely they only gave her a 2% chance of survival. He then looked at us and my sister in laws and said that if the stomach bile was dead when he cut her little belly open that he would have to sew her back up and he would let us hold her until she passed. We couldn't believe our ears, we couldn't believe this was happening to us. This was my first baby girl, and this was happening on Mothers day when this baby was only five days old. We watched as they wheeled her away very quickly. We sat in the waiting room for an hour PRAYING that God would let us keep her.
The phone rang in the waiting room...It was the doctor, he said the bile is alive but we are still working on her. I fell to my knees thanking God for this miracle baby he had blessed us with. My wife and I never left her side. When we did sleep it was only between shift changes and we would sleep in my truck, constantly watching the clock. Kelsey's bowels woke up on day 7! Then my wife was finally able to nurse her. She is truly my little miracle! I am so thankful for her, my life wouldn't be the same without my little girl! Kelsey is now 11 years old and in the 5th grade! I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for the beautiful little girl he has blessed my life with. Eternally Grateful!

Miracle 123: Five Miracles in One
This incredible miracle is from an incredible young woman living in Georgia. I adore her faith!
This might be intense but it's the best miracle and testimony I have. I have been homeless since I was 15 and got into prostitution, drugs, abusive relationships. and ended up in the hospital several times. Tried to commit suicide and didn't succeed (miracle #1). I went and got help several times but went back to "the life". Long story short I stayed in "the life" til I was 19. And one day I finally got on my knees and said "God if there is anyways you still love me and you are real please save me". 3 days later I was at a friend's house and 3 missionaries showed up (miracle #2). Elder Thomas and 2 others. They asked me if i had any questions and i was like i sure do. i was still in "the life" little did they know. But they kept showing up. Kept praying for me. Even when i told them i couldn't see them any more because my abuser wouldn't allow it. He even stopped me from going to church with them. Well one day my abuser beat me and left me laying in the middle of the road. I called Elder Thomas and asked if they could help me. I truly wanted help and a better life. They arranged for a Sister to pick me up and take me to the bus station with gifts and love. SHE SAID SHE LOVED ME. it was the first time in a LONG TIME someone said they loved me and i could actually feel it. she didn't even know me (miracle #3). I went to a program and have been blessed by surrendering my life to GOD. (miracle #4). And since i said i couldn't live my life my way anymore he has shown me the best life i could have by faith, trust, and surrendering. I have been sober and out of the life since October 26, 2012. (miracle #5). everyday is a miracle because im still here and i still get a chance to live for the man who saved me. I am LOVED. I have a spiritual family. I am SAVED. I am FREE. I am SOBER. I am HEALED. I am REDEEMED. I have a story to tell that will save someones life, just like the person who saved mine.
There will be miracles when you believe in God.

Miracle 122: Such a Scare
This powerful miracle is actually from my darling mom living in California! Love it. Love her.
Our daughter, nearly 2, gave us such a scare on Saturday, May 6, 1985 when she fell into Grandpa’s and Grandma’s swimming pool unnoticed. I had had a dream a few days before about her falling into a pool. I worried all week about the warning I knew I had been given. The day Jaclyn did fall into the pool, Dad, , my sister-in-law, and I did not hear the splash, but I had a feeling come over me that told me she was in trouble. I turned around inside the family room and found the sliding screen door open. She had slipped off the shallow steps in the pool and was splashing her hands above the water while her head was submerged. I jumped into the water and scooped her out as she coughed and choked from the water she had swallowed. We were so grateful she was going to be okay. We all said prayers of thankfulness to our Heavenly Father for watching over her. I know that God through the Holy Ghost prompted me to know that she needed us. I am grateful I listened to the whisperings of the Spirit which was a miracle in our lives that day!

Miracle 121: Receiving a Peace
This powerful miracle is from a friend of mine currently living in California. His faith is stunning.
So I was a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has been the happiest, most fulfilling time of my life. It was a God-sent blessing to be able to see (and become an active part of) the changes that people were making in their lives. Then I got sick. The vertigo was so bad that I could not stand straight. The hope was that I would have surgery in Peru and I would quickly get back to the work that I loved so much. That did not happen. It was decided that the procedure would be better done in the United States. Upon arrival I received the news from the doctor that surgery would only make my condition worse and there was nothing he could do. Only time would allow me to heal. The happiness and fulfillment that I so dearly loved was taken from me. So I am currently home, waiting to heal.
And while I went through a time where I felt that my life held little meaning, I received a peace from the presence of God that He had a purpose for me. And though it has been hard, I realized that He needs me home more than as a missionary. I have seen the miracle of faith- the very faith that allowed me to glimpse at His plan for me.
There will be miracles when you believe in God.

Miracle 120: A Big Ole Hug
This wonderful miracle is from a young man from Arizona! Hope you love it.
I think my biggest miracle that I've been able to enjoy in my recent life, is when I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I remember praying about the Church and then going to bed, deciding to wait for the answer. When I woke up in the morning, I was exceedingly happy. I felt like Christ had come down and given me a big ole hug, and a month later I was baptized!
There will be miracles when you believe in God.

Miracle 119: All Sorts of Torn Up
This lovely miracle is from a returned missionary from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
A few days before I came home from my mission, I had to send a box home full of random stuff, including 5 of my journals. I got home and a few days later, the mailman delivered my box and it was all sorts of torn up. 2 of my journals were missing- I was devastated! Yesterday, I got a package from the Church Missionary Department with both of my journals! Someone must have read them or read some of it and noticed I was a missionary for our church and sent them to the headquarters, which then got sent to me!!

Miracle 117: You Read ALL Of It?
This miracle is from one of my best friends serving her lovely mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints out in Colorado.
A couple weeks ago, I was out with a different missionary serving in another area than my assigned one. My companion for the day had been teaching a young man, named John, a few months ago. He was excited and progressing, but his dad asked the missionaries to stop coming by. He said John just wasn't interested anymore and they would no longer be meeting.
While this sister and I were walking down the street, talking with everybody in the area, who should come walking towards us, but John! He excitely said,"Hey, I read that Mormon Bible."
We asked, "The Book of Mormon? You read ALL of it?"
He responded,"Yeah, I loved it!"
So 13-year-old John read the Book of Mormon, wanted to meet with the missionaries again, and wanted to go to church that Sunday. And of course, he asked if he could bring his friend along as well. It was miracle that we were on that street at that time. Plain and simple.
