This wonderful miracle is from a 15 year old young woman from North Carolina. We know you'll love it.
When I was younger, I struggled having
the desire to read my scriptures and pray everyday. I tried my best to
read and pray every morning, but it always seemed so hard. When I was 13
years old, my mom told me that I would become a more perfect person by
learning more about Jesus Christ. Suddenly reading and praying became a
priority and the more I did it, the more I felt God's love for me
individually. That simple conversation with my mom changed my whole
perspective and has blessed my life. I know it's a miracle in my life.

Miracle 90: A Prayer Hearing and Answering God
This powerful miracle is from a Baptist mother living in Lake Butler, Florida. She is darling and has such sincere faith.
At 7 years old, my son began having absence seizures. At first we did not notice anything out of the ordinary because the episodes were so quick to happen. When the seizures started coming more often, we knew something was wrong. It was about two months from noticing that something wasn't right, to us getting him in to see a neurologist. The doctors quickly put him on medicine and the seizures completely stopped within a week. He was taken off the medicine after almost two years, and to this day hasn't had any seizures! Seizure free for seven and a half years in fact! I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I believe we serve a prayer-hearing and prayer-answering God. I'm so thankful He healed my son.
There can be miracles when you believe in God.

Miracle 89: No Random Thoughts
This stunning miracle is from a missionary serving for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a powerful example of being an influence for good with everyone in his life.
Our mission recently had a Zone Conference where one of the Assistant missionaries to the Mission President shared the concept of "No Random Thoughts."
The principle is this: The Holy Ghost is the best guide we can have as children of God, especially as missionaries preaching the Gospel, but we don't always follow or even recognize those subtle promptings. The message of this Assistant was that every time we have a "random" thought to do something good, it is in reality the Holy Ghost prompting us to do something. This lesson has been such a blessing to my life and to the work I am doing in my mission, but the biggest success story from following "No Random Thoughts" came from my mother.
I e-mailed her and all of my family and told them about "No Random Thoughts," committing them all to do the same back at home. The next week, she told me this story: "I can't begin to tell you how wonderful your last letter was. I was sitting in my hotel room Monday and crying as I read it; tears of joy and gratitude, mind you, not sadness. I could feel your incredible spirit through your letter and it made me so happy to read of your full commitment to your Mission President's teaching. Thank you, by the way, for sharing that principle with us. It has impacted our lives already. On Tuesday of last week, I went to the Mesa temple. I was walking around the outside of the temple and taking pictures of the grounds, as they have a Nativity and lights set up all over. I had just finished walking around and was about to go to my car, when I had the thought to go into the visitor's center. At first I thought, "No, I need to go visit two stores and I need to get going." But the thought came to me again, and this time, the words from your letter came to me in my mind, "No random thoughts".
I had the distinct impression that someone needed me to come into the building, so I walked in. In the foyer sat two sister missionaries and a member doing splits with them. I walked up to them and told them I was in town for work and visiting from Idaho. One of the sisters excitedly asked me which part. I told her the Meridian area and she gasped. She said, " You are an answer to my prayers!" She has a sister that lives in Meridian who has been inactive for years, but has been wanting to come back to church. She didn't know how to do it, though. She didn't want the missionaries to come and was nervous to talk to the Bishop. She had told her sister, she just really needed a friend. The sister missionary told me, "I think you're supposed to be her friend". The Spirit was unbelievable at that point, confirming this was anything but a chance meeting. We talked for a little while until an investigator came by. But I was able to friend her on Facebook and get her sister's information by then. As I walked out of the visitor's center I was overcome with emotion as my testimony of a loving Heavenly Father increased a hundred-fold!
There are no random thoughts! The Lord is just waiting for us to listen and heed these promptings so He can bless my life as well as other's lives. I am praying that I will know how best to approach her sister and so far the impressions I'm having are through a letter. I want to convey to her that she is important enough to Heavenly Father that He would bring me to her sister as a way to reach out to her. I figure if the Lord's hand is in this, it will work out as it supposed to as long as I am obedient to the promptings of the Spirit."
There are "No Random Thoughts," and the Lord has so many things in store for us if we will just commit to follow every prompting from the Holy Ghost.

Miracle 88: Miracle of the Manatees!
This incredible miracle comes from a woman in Lake Butler that is dearly loved. Her story is oh so inspiring.
On Wednesday, March 13th, I went on a field trip with the gifted students to swim with the manatees. That evening I found a lump in my right breast. I called the doctor the next morning and she worked me in for a mammogram/ultrasound. She said the wetsuit possibly could have brought the lump to the surface (tender mercies!). She went ahead and drew fluid and I received the results the following Wednesday that the cells were abnormal and within a few weeks I was diagnosed with cancer. Surgery was required and decisions had to be made. Following this diagnosis and in the midst of deciding to have a mastectomy, I received a Priesthood blessing from two Priesthood holders from my church congregation.
As more details were learned about the severity of my cancer, we decided that a mastectomy was the best option. During the surgery, my tech was a former gifted student of mine (tender mercy once again!). After the long surgery on April 18th was over, the next week I was told there was no cancer left! All I now needed to do was rest for 4 weeks and then recieve 4 Chemotheraphy treatments. This whole adventure has been a whirlwind. On March 14th we’re wondering what the small squishy lump was, and a little over a month later, I’m a breast cancer survivor!
All of the doctors were surprised that the cells multiplied so rapidly. Instead of the tumor sitting and getting larger and sending cells to other areas, it started multiplying right away. Those cells would have been more widespread if the wetsuit had not compressed the breast tissue making the lump more noticeable. It could have lain dormant for longer and been a much more serious issue.
The miracle of the manatees is that I would NEVER have worn a wetsuit to swim with anything else. I would NEVER have swam with manatees if I hadn’t lived in this area of Florida, and they have become my new favorite animals. Since I have to renew my tag this month, it will be Save the Manatees.
I am full of awe and gratitude to my Father in Heaven for being able catch this cancer early when it was such an aggressive one. There are no coincidences in life, but there are tender mercies and I’m thankful that I live in this area , at this time, with people who are important to me.
p.s. Did you know that the word "manatee" means woman's breast in the Carib language. Coincidence? I think not!

Miracle 87: Absent Absence Seizures
This powerful miracle is from a Baptist mother living in Lake Butler, Florida. She is darling and has sincere faith.
At 7 years old, my son began having absence seizures. For two years, he would be talking and playing only to then suddenly pause and space out for 10 seconds before hopping back into action. We became very worried and took him to doctors. The doctors quickly put him on medicine and the seizures began to slow down. After coming off the medicine, he hasn't had another one since. I know this miracle would not have been possible without our constant prayer and the prayers of those we love.

Miracle 86: My Savior's Hand
Late one night recently, we knocked on the most darling home's
door and we met a wonderfully faithful Baptist grandmother. Here is here
beautiful miracle.
A few years back, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I was in the midst of my four Chemotherapy treatments when my sweet miracle happened. Two or three days into a treatment, I always felt so sick, weak, and exhausted. It was during those moments where I would struggle the most. There was one particularly bad night where I truly felt my Savior hold my hand through the entire night. He never left my side. I now more fully know how close He is to all of us every day. That night was a direct answer to prayer.
There can be miracles when you believe in God.

Miracle 85: One Snowy Night
On a 24 hour exchange with another sister missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in lovely Keystone, Florida, we met a darling Christian couple walking their dogs. Here's their miracle from the wife's perspective.
I am the wife of a Christian minister. We loved to go on ministry trips to the Navejo Indian Reservation. We used to go for 13 months at a time with our two kids when they were younger. As we were born and raised in Florida, the winters on the Reservation were always an adventure in the snow. One year in particular, the weather was exceptionally bad. We were driving one night on a steep, mountain road covered in ice when we came upon a horse trailor that had jack-knifed in the middle of the road. My husband threw our car into park and jumped out to help. All I can remember was my car beginning to slide as I hoped over the consol into the driver's seat. I can still remember my kids in the back seat sitting completely unaware of the increasingly dangerous situation. I pumped the brakes and silently pleaded with God that He would keep everyone involved safe. Through the grace of God and the touch of His miraculous hand, our car stopped sliding and the horse trailor was set straight. We continued on our merry way as though nothing had happened, but I'll forever remember the love I felt from my Father in Heaven that snowy night.
